okay, so i've already decided that whatever amount we pay in hoa dues, it is totally worth it.
the pool has been open for a week and we've been at least six times. it's at the end of our street and has a great baby pool {when middle-aged men aren't using it as a jacuzzi with their adult beverages and cigarettes... but that's another rant}. we've met several friends down their already, taking a wagon full of toys, lunches and water down there. this weekend, the hubbs and i took turns going to enjoy some time pool-side during b's nap time. i felt like i was on vacation {minus the few times i got shot with a super soaker...}.
here are a few pictures of last wednesday when we met julie, sydney and harper to play:
*we met sarah and the other harper on friday, but i didn't even attempt my camera that day!*
monday night, we took it easy at home and headed up to the pool to show daddy our new 'skills'. sadly, we ended up not playing in the little pool that b. loves - see note above:

Funny. We lived in that neighborhood for 4 years and never went to the pool. :) Well, we tried once and the key didn't work so we didn't try again. :)
