Baseball!!

Sunday night we went to the Roughrider's game with our Bible Fellowship Class. It was hot, for sure, but we were prepared to sweat it out. That is until sweet Jay Lockett let us have an empty suite for the night. Ahhhhhh.... it was so nice living the high life.

Happy Birthday Pops.

Jeff's grandpa, Pops, turned 90 this weekend and we had a big birthday bash for him! He's such a wonderful, sweet, genuine, godly man and we had an awesome time celebrating him with the family.

Friday.

We've had a busy day so far! First we met Miss Sandra and Miss Jamie for lunch (no pictures, unfortunately) at Jake's. We then paid a visit to our friends at HKS. It was so fun to see everyone and B. had so much fun with all of the 'stuff' they have lying around up there! After lunch, we trucked it down the Tollway to visit it Sydney and the new Miss Atkinson, Harper Grace. I think she looks so much like Sydney did when she was a baby!! Sydney was such a sweet big sister... always wanting to give Harper her paci, she would hold her and rock her and softly whisper "shhhhh...." even when Harper was sound asleep. Melted my heart. Brady brought Syd a Big Sister present... a Waterpiller! B. got one for his birthday and loves it, so we thought it would be a perfect gift for her to play with while Harper is sleeping.

Julie looks amazing, I can't believe she was in labor yesterday... on her due date! She's going to have some interesting stuff to put in her baby book from yesterday for sure!!! Congratulations Craig and Julie! We're so excited for you!

Thursday.

My sweet little boy absolutely LOVES the water. I think he is going to turn into a fish by the end of the summer.

Chocolate and More Chocolate.

Monday I took B. to the sprayground in Lake Highlands. We were there for about 45 minutes and in the last ten or so minutes, the Bug finally understood what was going on and he found his 'nitch'. Well, unfortunately, that was the time that we needed to leave... and let's just leave it at 'Brady wasn't very happy' to be leaving.

I decided that mommy needed a little bit of a snack... so we went to Sonic Happy Hour. I had brought some chex mix for B. and a 100 Cal pack of those chocolate chip cookies for myself. While we were waiting, I gave B. one of my cookies... They're not even 1/2" in diameter... I had no idea that it would make this much of a mess:

And too bad that he had some chocolate shake to share with mommy as well! He was so funny, and serious, as he was drinking a big boy shake. Everytime he'd take a break, I'd ask if he was all done and he'd immediately stick it back in his mouth. He ended up not drinking too much but he definitely LOVED it!! Such a BIG boy.

Happy Father's Day.

Hi everyone! This is Brady Leach here. I snuck onto my mommy's computer while she was not looking so I could write my daddy this letter for Father's Day. Please don't tell her, I think she may get mad because I'm not supposed to touch the computer keys.

Dear Daddy,

Happy Father's Day Daddy. I love you. You are the best daddy ever. Thank you for everything you do for me. Thank you for taking me on walks in the wagon, even when you are tired. Thank you for wrestling with me when you get home from work. I really love the chocolate chip waffles that you get me. Mommy doesn't ever let me do things like that. Thank you for teaching me about Tiger Woods. He's so cool. Daddy, thank you for being such a great friend to mommy. She loves you very much. Thank you for tickling me and cuddling with me and reading me stories. You are awesome. I hope I can be as great of a daddy as you are when I grow up.

I love you daddy.

The Bug.

Take me out to the ball game....

"Nature" Walk

Saturday morning, we went on a walk down the block to kill some time outdoors while it was still bearable outside. B. ended up wanting to walk Georgia himself.
